Dr. Jamie Whittenburg, originally from Lubbock, Texas, discovered her passion for veterinary medicine while working as a veterinary technician in small animal and equine practices throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Following graduation, Dr. Whittenburg pursued post-graduate training at Texas A&M University.
With a special interest in feline medicine and surgery, Dr. Whittenburg is dedicated to advancing the care of cats and advocating for their unique medical needs. In addition to her clinical work, she is an accomplished freelance medical writer who contributes to veterinary and pet health publications.
